Ready : Overview
In just one year you’ll be graduating from high school! This is an important year; the grade point average you get this school year, in addition to your cumulative GPA will be very important for your college applications! You also need to start thinking of who can write you letters of recommendation, which extracurricular activities can make you stand out, and how are you planning to pay for school.
Did you know: there are three things you must do to in order to graduate from high school?
- Earn enough credits (view the required classes and credit requirements here).
- Pass state tests or approved test alternatives.
- Complete your Culminating Senior Project (graduating classes of 2014 and earlier only).
Now would be a great time to start talking to your parents, teachers, and administrators about your continuing education options. As you’re taking the PSAT or PLAN tests, you’ll start to see career and college option patterns emerge. You’re probably already involved in a variety of extracurricular activities as well, and these are all things that can help you shape your education path.
