Grad : Career Planning

Everyone’s probably given you a few ideas about what kind of career you should have, but what do YOU want to do? If you don’t know yet, use the list below to help you figure it out! And don’t worry, you have time to decide.

"Explore careers and their earning potential in the Occupational Outlook Handbook. Or, for a fun interactive tool, try the U.S. Department of Labor’s career search.

Once you finish this list, talk to your family, friends, teachers, and counselor to see what careers might be a good fit for you. Their insight coupled with your own interest inventory can help identify your strengths and passions in life!

"Career Bridge is a one-stop searchable database that shows you how much certain jobs pay, and what kind of education you’ll need for these careers.

If you've done the quizzes and the research and you think an apprenticeship program might be the right move, check out Washington's Labor & Industries' apprenticeship program webpage to look for openings, find career programs, and narrow down the right field for you.
