Grad : High School Grad & College Admission Standards

High School Graduation Standards

The State Board of Education website provides information on the Washington State High School graduation requirements for each graduating class.

The Washington Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction's (OSPI) website offers additional details on the state's graduation requirements, as well as information about the High School and Beyond Plan.

College Admission Standards

Minimum college admission standards for students enrolling in Washington State public four-year colleges spell out what students need to do to qualify for admission, including completion of specific high school coursework, a 2.0 grade point average, and taking the SAT or ACT exam and having the results sent directly to the college to which the student is applying. Meeting the minimum standards does not guarantee admission to college; many criteria are considered when making admissions decisions. But, they are a good way to gauge whether or not you're on the right track!
