In the first webinar you will learn more about changes to the 2017-2018 FAFSA and WASFA, and the resources available through the 12th Year Campaign. We will also discuss the FAFSA Completion Portal, a WSAC tool that allows schools to view their students' FAFSA completion status.
Webinar #2 College Bound Scholarship Repledge – November 16, 2016 (youtube)
The transition from middle to high school can be challenging, especially for low-income and underrepresented youth. The College Bound Re-pledge campaign, championed and led by the Washington College Access Network, is an opportunity to re-engage College Bound Scholarship ninth grade students in high school and remind them of their commitment. This campaign provides a platform to talk to students around the scholarship’s commitment while also connecting behavior, attendance, and class performance to the larger goal of high school completion, postsecondary enrollment, and a successful career.
