Ready : Preparing for My Education
Congratulations on making it to college! Completing your education is vital—not only to your career, but also to give you the best bang for your buck. In order to finish your degree, certificate, or program, you will need the right support—both academically and financially.
You can prepare for completing your higher education by keeping track of your graduation requirements and keeping up with your finances. Be sure to talk to your academic counselor about getting and staying on track to finish your required courses. If you are in a program that requires you to choose a major, make sure you decide what your focus will be. You can talk to students in that major and take classes in it to try it and see whether it works for you. This is the time to explore your interests and things you’ve not yet considered. Changing majors is normal for undergraduates; just make sure you keep track of what you need to do to earn your degree regardless of the major you choose.
If you need any special accommodations for your classes, talk to your counselor or the disabilities resources center at your school. Being prepared for your courses is critical to completing your program on time.
